This made it so convenient for my traveling friends with suitcases who didn't have to struggle with stairs. I've visited several times during my stays in Edinburgh, and the quality has remained consistently excellent. Good piece of haddock with a light crispy thin batter! Love that I’m eating real fish rather than batter. It’s also great that they serve 1/2 portion as a full portion would be too much for me. The Bertie sauce was a nice complement. Staff was friendly too.

Mo was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, recommending a variety of options from the menu and explaining the different sauces in detail. His suggestions were spot-on — the food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The decor is nice, the service is very good, they ask if you want to add a tip. You can split the bill. The food was delicious, the best fish I've ever eaten. Fresh and tasty.

There are so many fish and chips options, even vegetarian ones, there’s definitely a lot of choices, but I decided to go for the traditional fish and chips and it didn’t disappoint. The sauce and the fries were very good, as well as the fish, my only problem was that the breading was a bit too oily for my taste. Still enjoyed it! For dessert I shared a sticky toffee pudding and omg it was so so good, deliciously moist and sweet, perfect accompanied by the ice cream. The staff was so so nice and friendly, we waited a bit for a table, but much less then expected!

This is a terrific restaurant. Great fish and chips and incredible scenery outside. It’s just off the famous mile. This is a huge restaurant. There are tables on the main level in two other levels above that. You should be always able to find a table.
